December 15, 2021: HOMEY project has been granted funding by EDUP (total budget: 8.7 million DKK). We will develop a range of H2-driven portfolio management and business models for hybrid power plants (electrolyzers+wind+PV+battery) under uncertainty, and demonstrate our solutions in a real pilot of Siemens Gamesa in Denmark.
December 1, 2021: Bennevis Crowley joined the ELMA group as a PhD student, funded by the FLEX-CEC project (EUDP) and DTU Elektro. He will be primarily working on "privacy-based market deisgn for energy communities".
November 8-12, 2021: Invited to give a 4-hour tutorial at TACEMM 2021, Aalto Univeristy, Finland, on "Flexibility and coordination in energy systems," organized by Trans-Atlantic Cooperation on Energy Market Models (TACEMM) [link].

September 1, 2021: Aitazaz Ali Raja (TU Delft) and Miguel Angel Muñoz (University of Malaga) joined the ELMA group as guest PhD students. They will be with the ELMA group for 6 and 3 months, respectively.

June 1, 2021: Peter Gade joined the ELMA group as an Industrial PhD student with IBM. He will work on "Investment model for power flexibility services".
May 7, 2021: Appointed as the new leader of the research group "Energy Analytics and Markets" (ELMA) at DTU Electrical Engineering Department.

Vladimir stayed with us at the ELMA group for the last four years, and completed his MSc and PhD theses with Prof. Pierre Pinson and myself. Big thanks to Prof. Pascal Van Hentenryck and Prof. Ferdinando Fioretto for hosting Vladimir for six months at GeorgiaTech during his PhD, where he learned a lot about differential privacy. Good luck Vladimir with your next career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT.
